Moldovan PM has meeting with Danish defence minister

Prime Minister Dorin Recean has met Danish Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen, on an official visit to Chisinau. The PM expressed gratitude to the Danish authorities for their support of Moldova's European path and emphasized the good cooperation in such areas as energy efficiency, strengthening security capacities, and protecting electoral processes from foreign interference.

"The European integration is the only path to peace and prosperity for each Moldovan," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.

The officials also discussed the active role Denmark will play as the holder of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the second half of 2025—a critical period for advancing the accession negotiations of Moldova. Prime Minister Dorin Recean welcomed the Danish government's commitment to promoting an agenda focused on security, with A Safe Europe as a priority concept.
