
Moldovan foreign affairs minister says Croatia stays reliable partner for Moldova
The strengthening of bilateral political dialogue and Croatia's support for the European path of Moldova have been discussed at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister Mihai, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia Gordan Grlić Radman.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), the two ministers also discussed opportunities for cooperation in such areas as education, tourism and energy security.
‘’Croatia stays a reliable partner for Moldova in the process of joining the European Union, and its consistent support is essential,’’ said Minister Mihai Popsoi.
The Moldovan official emphasized that they would continue to work together on concrete projects and initiatives that will bring benefits to the people of both countries.
Minister Gordan Grlić Radman assured Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi of full support in the process of joining the European family, including by sharing Croatia's experience and support within European institutions.
Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Affairs Minister Mihai Popsoi participated in the 18th edition of the international conference Dubrovnik Forum, an event organized annually under the auspices of Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
