
Moldovan PM has meeting with minister for European affairs of Denmark
Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Dorin Recean today had a meeting with Minister for European Affairs of Denmark Marie Bjerre. The officials discussed the European integration way of Moldova, the reforms implemented by the government and the regional situation.
According to the government’s communication department, PM Dorin Recean stressed that the authorities were focusing, in continuation, on the fight against corruption, justice reform and ensuring the supremacy of law, the guaranteeing of institutions’ independence.
Also, the prime minister also referred to the opportunities of investments in Moldova. Dorin Recean noted that the government’s work was focused on the enhancement of the confidence of investors, as well as consumers. The interlocutors also touched upon the need to combat the propaganda and misinformation, for the protection of the democratic values.
For her part, the Danish minister for European affairs appreciated the strong bilateral partnership and the friendship between the two states. The official emphasized the authorities’ firm resolution to advance on the European integration way, noting that Denmark would continue backing Moldova in this process.
