Moldovan president discusses with prime minister of Spain

Chisinau, 27 February /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu today discussed with Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez the recent security developments in Moldova and in the region, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian citizens and with the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Also, PM Sánchez expressed gratitude for the joint effort of the authorities and of all citizens of Moldova in the reception and helping the refugees who came from Ukraine. In the context, the head of state said that Moldova did its utmost to further provide humanitarian assistance to the refugees.
