Chisinau, March 16. /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean has concluded his visit to Drochia in the village of Chetrosu, where one of the largest rabbit meat producers in Moldova operates, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.

The business was launched in 2009, and to date, the company has managed to develop a complete production cycle - from growing raw material as food for rabbits to delivering products to commercial networks in the country.

The company administrators claim that in the development of the business they were guided by the principle of environment protection and preservation of nature's renewable resources, using organic fertilizers resulting from animal husbandry to cultivate cereals and alfalfa.

The Chetrosu-based company manages a production hall, a refrigerator for meat storage and land for cultivating raw materials, employing around 20 residents of the region. Also, the young administrators launched a recipe book to promote the consumption of rabbit meat, available in electronic format on the iepuri.md website.
