National Bank of Moldova appoints members of commercial bank's leadership committee, board
Chisinau, 18 November /MOLDPRES/ – The Executive committee of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) appointed on Thursday, 17 November 2016, the members of the Management Board and the Council of BC “Moldindcondbank”.
The National Bank of Moldova’s press service informed that the management committee of the bank consists of four members: Aureliu Cincilei (Chairman), Victor Ciobanu first vice chairman), Iurie Ursu and Svetlana Magdaliuc (vice chairmen).
The bank Council is composed of five members possessing large experience in financial-banking sector. Giedrius Steponkus, a citizen of Lithuania, was appointed as the chairman of the Council, who was a member of the Supervisory Board and Vice President of the Vilnius Stock Exchange, member of the group Banking Stakeholder Group (European Banking Authority). The rest board members are: Nicolae Dorin (president of the Association of Banks of Moldova, previously BC "Mobiasbanca" SA chairman and first vice chairman), Anna Gheorghiu (previously BC "Moldova-Agroindbank" SA first vice president, BC "Moldindconbank" SA president and prime vice president), Elena Punga (formerly managing director in the regional network of branches and agencies of BC "Mobiasbanca" SA) and Aureliu Cincilei.
The Management Board members and those of BC "Moldindcondbank" SA Council were appointed under the system of early intervention applied following the establishment by NBM activity concerted group of people who hold a significant interest in the bank's capital in the amount of 63,89 per cent, without BNM’s permission.
BC "Moldindconbank" SA operates in standard and provides all services, including those related to operations with deposits, lending and settlement.
