Moldovan parliament takes note of MP's resignation
The parliament has taken note of the resignation of MP Nicolae Botgros, elected on the list of the political party, Action and Solidarity Party (PAS). A draft decision providing for this was voted by 59 MPs, the parliament’s press service reported.
Nicolae Botgros submitted his resignation request, effective as of March 27, 2026. In the context, a parliamentary mandate belonging to the PAS political party was declared vacant.
In accordance with the Law on the MP’s status, the vacant mandate will be assigned to the next substitute on the list of the electoral competitor.
