Applause in Parliament for Nicolae Botgros as he leaves office

Emotional moments in Parliament when deputy and conductor Nicolae Botgros announced that he is resigning from his mandate. His colleagues applauded him for his contribution not only to the political life, but also to the cultural life of the country.

In his farewell speech, Botgros expressed his gratitude to those who supported him and shared a few thoughts about his professional and political journey:

“Perhaps the one who will come to this seat will do more than I have managed to do in these 49 years, during which I could only conduct the orchestra ‘Lăutarii’ and bring joy to the world. The greatest successes of our art come from a lot of hard work.”

Botgros also emphasized the importance of experiences and lessons learned:

“I want to thank the electorate who put us in office, so that our country can get where it should be – in Europe. I want us to get there together.”

In closing, the conductor delivered a message full of emotion and optimism for the future:

“Stay united and do beautiful things so that our country can flourish.”

The moment marked the end of Nicolae Botgros’s activity as a member of Parliament.

Nicolae Botgros is the artistic director and principal conductor of the National Folk Music Orchestra “Lăutarii”, one of the most renowned orchestras in the country. He entered politics as a member of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) and was elected as a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova.
