PMs of Moldova, Belarus describe ties between two states as very good
Chisinau, 19 April /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip and President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko have described the relations between the two states as very good. The officials noted that the agreements signed today, including the ones between regions, would contribute to further developing the ties, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
”The relations between our countries are cordial, we cooperate in a lot of sectors and I have repeatedly said it: this fact, to a great extent, is due personally to You and Your attitude,” Pavel Filip said. The PM thanked President Lukashenko for the support Belarus was providing to Moldova, including for the agricultural technology and special vehicles donated.
In particular, the prime minister expressed gratitude to Belarus for the fact that, in the situation of embargo imposed by Russia, Belarus had become an important sales market for Moldovan goods, especially for wines.
President Aleksandr Lukashenko said the discussions held today had been constructive, substantive, pragmatic, as well as full of emotion. “You are not only reliable partners, you are our friends. I love Moldova not less your people. I spent my youth here and even if these are emotions, they play a certain role in politics. You can rely on us, we will fulfill all agreements reached,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
The officials noted that, at the today’s meeting, the sides discussed the Moldovan-Belarusian projects underway, as well as the future ones. The projects on assembling trolley busses and cooperation in the agricultural sector, including supply of Moldovan farmers with agricultural technology were described as the most successful.
