Over 500 prosecutors take part in General Assembly of Prosecutors
A total of 522 prosecutors out of the 590 currently in office are taking part today in the General Assembly of Prosecutors, which has been convened online.
At the beginning of the assembly, prosecutor Natalia Andronic was elected chair of the General Assembly, while the meeting secretary was elected as Irina Oboroc, an employee of the Superior Council of Prosecutors.
The prosecutors will hear the report on the activity of the Prosecutor’s Office in 2025, debate the institution’s priorities for the current year, as well as review the activity report of the Superior Council of Prosecutors.
The last General Assembly of Prosecutors in the Republic of Moldova took place on 11 February 2025, having been convened by the Superior Council of Prosecutors. The event brought together prosecutors from across the country and included the presentation of the annual activity reports of both the Prosecutor’s Office and the SCP for 2024.
