
Moldovan president initiates consultations on designating candidate for PM office
President Maia Sandu initiates consultations on designating a candidate for the office of prime minister.
President Maia Sandu has invited the parliamentary factions and groups for consultations on the nomination of a candidate for the position of Moldova’s PM.
The meetings will take place on October 23 and October 24, at Moldova’s Presidency, according to the following schedule:
October 23:
• 13:00 – Democracy at Home Political Party
• 14:00 – Our Party Political Party
• 15:00 – The Alternative Political Bloc
• 16:00 – Party of Communists of Moldova
• 17:00 – Party of Socialists of Moldova
October 24:
• 10:00 – Action and Solidarity Party
The consultations are conducted in accordance with the provisions of Moldova’s Constitution and aim to designate a candidate for the position of prime minister, with the purpose of forming a new government.
