Moldovan PM, Slovakian counterpart have phone conversation
Prime Minister Vasile Tofan has had a phone conversation with his Slovak counterpart, Robert Fico. The officials discussed bilateral relations between Moldova and Slovakia, economic cooperation and the country's European path.
The Moldovan PM thanked Slovakia for its support to Moldova, both through its backing of the country's European path and through projects carried out within SlovakAid in such areas as good governance, healthcare, education, food security, agriculture, business environment development and infrastructure. The current portfolio of projects implemented in Moldova amounts to approximately 10 million euros.
The two prime ministers also discussed the development of economic and trade relations and ways to capitalize on cooperation opportunities, including by attracting investments and promoting joint projects.
At the end of the conversation, the officials agreed to maintain an active dialogue and continue the bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
