National Wine Day 2026 announces itself with dress code in colors of Moldovan wine

The National Wine Day this year will feature a dress code inspired by the color palette of Moldovan Wine. The anniversary edition, marking 25 years since the launch of the event, will take place on Great National Assembly Square (PMAN) from Chișinău on October 3-4.

Organizers invite participants to embrace the Wine Palette concept and choose outfits in shades inspired by Moldovan wine: red, burgundy or deep violet.

The preferred color can be incorporated into a complete outfit or featured through just one detail or accessory.

“Choose between red, burgundy and deep violet, and wear your preferred shade as part of a complete outfit or in a detail that makes a difference,” organizers urge.

This year’s edition will mark the 25th anniversary of the National Wine Day, an event dedicated to promoting Moldovan wine, winemaking traditions and producers from Moldova.

The event is organized by the National Office for Vine and Wine, in partnership with the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry and the Culture Ministry. The event’s main partners include maib and Mastercard. Access to the event is available with a ticket, and organizers encourage participants to prepare their outfits in the Wine Palette colors in advance.
