PHOTO // French MPs visit Moldova's parliament; talks focus on strengthening cooperation, supporting European path
More French MPs, members of the Les Démocrates parliamentary group from the National Assembly of France, paid a visit to Moldova’s parliament today.
The French delegation had meetings with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, members of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with the French Republic, led by Marcela Adam, and Marcel Spatari, Chair of the Commission for European integration.
The discussions focused on deepening the political dialogue between Moldova and France, support for the country’s European path and the reforms necessary for joining the European Union, as well as strengthening the parliamentary cooperation.
During the meetings, the sides also emphasized the contribution of France to the development of Moldova and its willingness to continue exchanging experience and expertise between the two parliaments.
