
Second edition of European Excursion programme launched by Moldova's government
The government has launched the second edition of the educational programme, European Excursion, through which students from all districts of Moldova visit the capital and participate in educational and cultural activities. Over 1,300 children will benefit from this opportunity in all and the first group of children arrived in Chisinau today.
The European Excursion programme aims to facilitate free educational and cultural experiences for pupils from villages. The itinerary for the children includes visits to the National History Museum, Parliament and Presidency, as well as watching a film at the cinema.
Groups of students are taken from their localities with organized transport marked European Excursion, and in Chișinău, they are greeted by programme guides who accompany them throughout the day. The children are provided with free supplies and food, with all organizational expenses covered by the government.
We note that the programme involves pupils aged 10 to 16. Eighteen children and one accompanying teacher are selected from each of the 76 settlements included in the programme.
The European Excursion educational program takes place from June 24 to July 20, 2025. Over 2,500 children participated in the first edition of the programme in 2024.
