
Security in online space to be discussed at Moldova Cyber Week 2018
Chisinau, 28 October /MOLDPRES/ – The most important event dedicated to cyber security – Moldova Cyber Week 2018 will take place in Chisinau, on 29 October – 02 November, under the patronage of the Government of Moldova. The event will bring together experts, professionals in the areas of cyber security, cybercrime, as well as representatives of the university environment, offering new opportunities for establishing partnerships in online, regional and international space.
According to the government's communication and protocol department, Moldova Cyber Week 2018 will include topical presentations and workshops aimed at building a secure digital future. Over the course of five days, the participants will discuss the actual trends in the field, ways to respond to cyber threats and conduct rules within virtual environment. A special topic will refer to raising awareness and info about the risks which children face in online environment.
Moldova Cyber Week is organised by the Information Technology and Cyber Security Service (STISC) in partnership with the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), Tekwill Centre of Excellence and National Association of ICT Companies (ATIC). The support for the event is provided by the US Embassy in Moldova and by public and private sector of ICT companies.
