Moldova launches Interactive Investments Map, showcasing business development opportunities in each region of country

Moldova has launched the Interactive Investments Map - a useful tool for potential investors, which provides quick and detailed information on investment opportunities in each region of the country. The launch took place during the tenth edition of Moldova Business Week, which started in Chisinau today.

This new digital tool is available in both Romanian and English on the website of the Investments Agency. It assists potential investors in making informed decisions about investments and business developments.

The platform provides an updated and detailed view of the social and economic potential of each region of Moldova. Through an intuitive and interactive interface, the map allows users - investors, public authorities and economic players - to explore relevant economic indicators, sectoral profiles and localized investment opportunities, as well as to learn about labor availability.

The map currently includes 41 investment profiles focused on the circular economy, green technologies and responsible consumption from the Cahul and Ungheni regions, developed with the support of the EU4Moldova: Focal Regions programme. These portfolios facilitate attracting investments into the country's key sectors.

Director of the Investments Agency Natalia Bejan said that the Interactive Investments Map provided investors with relevant, structured and localized information, thus contributing to a more competitive and partnership-friendly Moldova.

“Technology plays an essential role in transforming how we present Moldova and all its regions to investors. The Interactive Investment Map is a digital tool and a firm step towards transparency and clarity. Through this new visual and accessible format for presenting investment projects, we provide relevant, structured, and localized information to investors, thus contributing to a more competitive and open Moldova for strategic partnerships,” said Natalia Bejan.

The map was developed by the Investments Agency, with the support of the European Union and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as part of the EU4Moldova: Focal Regions programme.
