Alegeri parlamentare 2025

Reintegration Policy Office published addresses of polling stations opened for voters from Transnistrian region

The Reintegration Policy Office (BPR) published today the addresses of polling stations that will be opened for voters from the Transnistrian region for the parliamentary election on September 28.

Thus, 12 polling stations will be opened, exclusively for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova residing in the localities from the left side of the Dniester River and in the municipality of Bender, which are temporarily outside the effective control of the constitutional authorities.

The basis for establishing polling stations on the left bank of the Dniester River was the data from the State Register of Voters, correlated with the dynamics of voter participation from the localities on the left bank of the Dniester River in the last three elections.

According to statistics, less than 30,000 voters from the Transnistrian region participated in the snap parliamentary elections in 2021, and approximately 26,000 in the 2024 presidential elections. During this period, the number of open stations also decreased – from 41 in 2021 to 30 in 2024.
