Moldovan carriers receive additional quota of 300 permits for Turkey
Moldovan carriers will benefit from an additional quota of 300 permits for international transport to/from third countries on the territory of Turkey, valid until January 31, 2026.
The National Road Transport Agency (ANTA) has made statements to this effect. ANTA highlighted that this result had been achieved through direct negotiations with Turkish authorities, conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development.
According to ANTA, the additional quota aims to enhance the competitiveness of Moldovan carriers on the international market and facilitate their access to new trade routes, complying with legal frameworks and international regulations.
“This achievement confirms the authorities' commitment to support Moldovan operators and provide them with real development opportunities on foreign markets. The permits will allow local companies to carry out more flexible and efficient transports, thus strengthening Moldova's position in international goods traffic and transport services. This measure is part of ANTA's strategic plan to support carriers and promote professional standards on foreign markets,” the National Road Transport Agency added.
