
Moldovan president to deliver speech in European Parliament's plenum
President Maia Sandu will pay an official visit to Strasbourg on September 9, 2025, where she will deliver a speech in the European Parliament’s plenum and will have more meetings with European officials.
At the same time, President Maia Sandu will meet officials from the Council of Europe, as Moldova is set to assume the Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of this organization, starting from November 2025, for a period of six months.
The visit's agenda will also include a meeting with members of the Moldovan community in Strasbourg.
