Forest Festival returns at presidential residence in Condrița on 14 September

On 14 September the Presidential Residence in Condrița will host the second edition of the Forest Festival, an event dedicated to nature, environment and community involvement in forest protection. Entry is free for all participants.

The festival offers a varied and interactive program designed for all ages. Visitors can participate in interactive exhibitions, guided workshops, games, and educational activities, as well as a fair featuring organic products. Additionally, environmental specialists will hold debates and discussions, while musical moments will complete the festive atmosphere.

Due to the picturesque landscape of the Residence in Condrița, relaxation areas will be set up where visitors can enjoy nature and the tranquility of the place. Those wishing to contribute directly to environmental protection can participate in a planting initiative, accessible through the purchase of special tickets.

The organizers will provide special round-trip public transport between Chișinău and Condrița throughout the event. Details about the program, transport routes, and planting initiative will be available on the festival's official page on Facebook and at http://www.ecopresa.md.

The festival is organized by the Ministry of the Environment, with support from Slovenia, in partnership with the Environmental Journalists Association / Ecopresa, EcoLocal, and other environmental organizations. The event takes place under the auspices of President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu, with the involvement of the President's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the company Lafarge Moldova.

The Forest Festival is part of the National Afforestation Program, launched in 2023, which aims to reforest approximately 145,000 hectares over the next 10 years, involving public institutions, NGOs, local communities, and citizens across the country.
