Moldovan government donates minibus for children in south-east Moldova village

The government has donated a minibus for children from Talmaza village, south—eastern Stefan Voda district, to make it easier for them to reach kindergarten.

Present at the donation event, Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu emphasized that the minibus would contribute to the safe carriage of about 100 children to kindergarten.

“Starting from today, children will reach kindergarten more easily, more safely and with smiles on their faces. Every journey to kindergarten is a journey to the future. We thank the local team and everyone who makes these things happen,” said Alexei Buzu.

The official added that, in the past four years, the government had continuously invested in the infrastructure of the Stefan Voda district, allocating funds for roads’ repairs, sidewalks’ construction and street lighting improvements, as well as major projects, such as road asphalt paving and the installation of photovoltaic stations at artesian wells.

During his trip, the minister also visited the Territorial Social Assistance Structure from in Causeni, where he discussed the measures that had been implemented to support people in need and how the government can further intervene to provide necessary support.
