GENERAL LOCAL ELECTIONS-2023 in Moldova: Synthesis of 24 October day
Chisinau, 24 October /MOLDPRES/ - The electoral agenda of the 24 October day included a news conference given by the candidate for the office of mayor of the Chisinau city on behalf of the Dignity and Truth Platform Party (DA), Victor Chironda.
„During this electoral campaign, I noticed that mayor Ivan Ceban avoids TV discussions. They say that he does not participate in the TV debates, because of the FSB (Russian Federal Security Service) does not allow him to do this. She should take care not to lose control and say something that would ruin the plans of taking over the power in Moldova. To combat these rumours, I invite Mr. Mayor to discussions in open air. Ion, starting from 25 October, I wait you daily in front of the Triumph Arch, at 12:00, to discuss the problems of the Chisinau residents,’’ Chironda said.
The president of the National Alternative Movement Party (MAN), Ion Ceban, at a today’s news conference, referred to the Moldovan capital’s modernization. ‘’We will continue the Programme on modernization of the illumination on streets and in districts, where it is necessary to cover 100 per cent the street illumination in all districts of the capital. The candidate of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) for the office of the Chisinau general mayor, Lilian Carp, today gave a news conference on the problems faced by the business environment from the capital and presented his and PAS team’s vision for the economic development of the Chisinau municipality. ‘’Our goals for Chisinau are realizable and needed for people; many of them could have already been implemented projects, which the residents are to enjoy; yet, there was no interest, but for actions which brought PR and benefits to those who were at the head of the local administration,’’ Lilian Carp said.
Also today, the candidate of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) for the office of Chisinau general mayor, Adrian Albu, held a news briefing on the social problems in the capital. ‘Together with the PSRM team, I unveiled the social priorities, which comprise more actions which will make the lives of people from the Chisinau city much better.
