
Moldovan electoral body updates number of citizens with right to vote
Chisinau, January 4 / MOLDPRES /- There are 3,283,288 eligible voters registered in the State Register of Voters in the Republic of Moldova.
The Central Electoral Commission has updated the data on the total number of citizens with the right to vote, thus, 3,283,288 persons with the right to vote are registered in the State Register of Voters.
At the same time, 2,775,769 voting citizens are assigned by administrative-territorial units, with permanent residence. The others, who did not register a domicile / residence, legally left the borders of the Republic of Moldova or have their domicile registered on the left bank of the Dniester.
Chisinau has the largest number of voters - 641,423. 129,860 eligible voters are registered in Gagauzia. On the third place is the municipality of Balti, with 101,542 voters.
