
MPs, mayors from Moldova and Romania in solidarity with European future of localities
Chisinau, July 21. /MOLDPRES/- MPs and mayors from the Republic of Moldova and Romania are committed to act jointly for the European future of the localities. The discussions and meetings of the authorities from the two states will take place within the international Symposium, common future within the European Community. The event will be held in Slănic-Moldova, Bacău County, Romania, on July 21-22.
According to the parliament's communication and public relations department, dozens of mayors from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, as well as representatives of the governments and parliaments of the two countries are expected at the event.
The participants in the discussions will be greeted, at the opening of the event, by Speaker Igor Grosu and Romanian Senator Cătălin-Daniel Fenechiu.
The local and central authorities from the two states will present the good practices of their localities, the existing joint projects, as well as set new partnerships.
