Speaker: Moldova can count on Romania

The Republic of Moldova can count on Romania. We are confident that very soon, we will be sitting together side by side at a table with all the member countries of the European Union. This message was conveyed by Speaker Igor Grosu, who had a meeting with Romania's Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan in Chișinău.

Igor Grosu said he discussed with Romania's Prime Minister about the joint development projects and how important it is to maintain this pace, “because our common goal is the welfare of the citizens on both banks of the Prut.”

“Welcome back to the Republic of Moldova, Ilie Bolojan - a good friend to all Moldovans. With the Prime Minister of Romania, we discussed our joint development projects and the importance of maintaining this pace because our common goal is the welfare of the citizens on both banks of the Prut. Once again, I am convinced that Moldova can count on Romania, and we are confident that very soon, we will sit together, side by side, with all the EU member countries,” stated Igor Grosu.

Romania's Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan visited Moldova today. The official's agenda included meetings with Prime Minister Dorin Recean and President Maia Sandu.
