750 buildings in Chisinau connected to heating
Chisinau, 27 October /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall announces that so far, 750 municipal facilities have been connected to heating.
The municipality pointed out that the obligation to provide consumers with heating belongs to Termoelectrica company, the only thermal energy supplier in the capital.
According to the information presented by the local authority, Chisinau city hall annually requests the company Termoelectrica, based on contractual relations, to connect the municipal housing to the centralized heating network, when three consecutive days average daily temperatures of up to +10 ˚C are recorded. this year, 750 buildings that benefit from heat from the centralized source have already been connected, out of the 3,048 objectives, which is about 25% of the total number.
In this context, the municipal authorities noted that all 133 early education institutions in Chisinau have heating. Also, 49 out of the 62 health institutions are connected to heating. At the same time, 98 out of the 135 educational institutions already have heating.
