About 6,000 consumers disconnected from power supply over weather conditions in Moldova

About 6,000 consumers from the central and southern regions of Moldova have been left without electricity over the weather conditions. Teams of specialists are intervening on site to fix the problems.

According to Premier Energy, as of 17:00, a total of 5,920 consumers from 12 settlements were hit by outages.

Faults were recorded in six districts of the country. It is about Vulcanesti – 1,229 consumers (Vulcanesti town; Etulia village; Alexandru Ioan Cuza village; Cismichioi village), Cahul – 456 consumers (Cahul municipality), Taraclia – 3,377 consumers (Copceac village; Taraclia town), Leova – 534 consumers (Cneazevca village; Orac village), Causeni – 237 consumers (Farladenii Noi village; Tanatarii Noi village) and Anenii Noi – 87 consumers (Harbovat village).

The authorities urge consumers to report any incident to the electricity distribution system operators at the following numbers: 022 43 11 11 (Premier Energy Distribution) or +373 23 12 42 01 (RED Nord).
