
Accident at Chisinau Arena: young artist falls from height during show
A young artist fell from a height during a show titled, Aladdin, 1001 Nights on Ice, which took place at the Chisinau Arena Complex today. Organizers rule out the existence of a technical problem. The police have opened an investigation to determine the circumstances of the accident.
The accident occurred approximately one hour into the show. The 24-year-old artist was performing an acrobatic number at height. At one point, she suddenly fell to the ground.
The police were notified at about 6:00 PM. They confirmed the accident, noting that the young woman was taken to the hospital for medical care.
The show's organizers, Suhih Production Company, quickly issued a statement indicating that one of the causes of the accident might be "human factor," as the artists' equipment was safe.
At the same time, the organizers confirmed that the show continued after an intermission, which lasted 15 minutes.
