Meteorologists issue yellow heatwave alert; air temperatures grow up to +33 Celsius degrees

Meteorologists have issued a yellow heatwave alert, valid for July 14.

According to the State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS), during the day, the central and southern regions of the country will be under a yellow heatwave alert, with maximum air temperatures reaching 33°C and above.

In the context, authorities recommend that the residents avoid prolonged exposure to sun, stay properly hydrated, wear light-colored clothing and limit intense physical effort during the day.

Farmers are urged to take protective measures for crops and animals directly exposed to solar radiation, while local authorities are advised to be prepared to intervene, if necessary.

In the case of a yellow alert, weather conditions are potentially dangerous, and the forecast meteorological phenomena are common for the territory of the country, but temporarily can become dangerous for certain social and economic activities.
