As many as 2,132 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 25 March /MOLDPRES/- A number of 6,704 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 2,132 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 222,120 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data put out by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 63 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –14, medical assistants –18 and auxiliary staff -31.
As many as 4,377 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are put in hospitals, of whom 349 are in extremely serious condition (65 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 11,798 persons are treated at home with easy forms of coronavirus and 21,133 are under supervision at the domicile.
Another 1996 people have been treated. As many as 195,558 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 41 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 4,702 people have died of coronavirus in all.
