As many as 241 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova
Chisinau, 14 March /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,689 tests have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 241 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. 7 out of these cases are import ones. Thus, 508,235 COVID cases have been recorded in Moldova so far.
According to the Health Ministry (MS), 4 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (2 physicians, 1 medical assistant, 1 auxiliary staff employee).
As many as 303 people confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 41 are in extremely serious condition and 2 patients are subjected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 2,970 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 7,069 are under supervision at home.
Another 712 people have been treated. As many as 490,993 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 4 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 11,350 people have died of coronavirus in all.
