
As many as 333 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 6 May /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 4,474 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 333 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which four import ones. As many as 252,153 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), five out of all cases are medical employees: physicians -1, medical assistants – 2, auxiliary staff employees – 2.
As many as 1,561 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 178 are in extremely serious condition (28 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus).
In the context, 1,937 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 15,458 are under supervision at home.
Another 451 people have been treated. As many as 242,363 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 19 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 5,912 people have died of coronavirus in all.
