As many as 341 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 27 September /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 1,098 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 341 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. As many as 50,875 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 29 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians – 13, medical assistants –13, auxiliary staff employees – 3.

The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 541 are in serious condition (of whom 35 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,315 people are in medium serious condition, while the other patients are satisfactory condition.

Another 402 people have been treated and discharged. As many as 37,440 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another eight deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,287 people dead of this virus in all.
