
As many as 498 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 27 November /MOLDPRES/ - A number of 5,046 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 498 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed. Two out of the new cases are import ones. Thus, 362,326 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health Ministry (MS), 5 out of all infection cases are among medical employees (1 physician, 1 medical assistant, 3 auxiliary staff employees).
As many as 1,320 patients confirmed with COVID-19 are hospitalized in all, of whom 152 are in extremely serious condition and 28 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation.
In the context, 4,452 persons are treated at home with light and moderate forms of coronavirus and 10,063 are under supervision at home.
Another 841 people have been treated. As many as 346,067 people were treated of COVID-19 in all.
At the same time, MS informs about the registration of another 32 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and 9,054 people have died of coronavirus in all. The Health Ministry specifies that some of these cases have been earlier registered, but are reported today.
