As many as 656 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours
Chisinau, 20 October /MOLDPRES/ -A number of 3,090 samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours and 656 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed, of which five import cases. As many as 67,958 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Moldova so far.
According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 32 out of all cases are medical employees: physicians –1 7, medical assistants –12, auxiliary staff employees – 3.
The health condition of the people hit is as follows: 876 are in serious condition, of whom 48 patients are connected to assisted breathing. At the same time, 1,467 patients are in medium seriousness condition and the other patients are in satisfactory condition.
Another 590 people were treated and discharged today. As many as 49,083 persons have been healed of COVID-19 in all.
In the context, 7, 978 people are treated at home with easy forms of COVID-19 and 25,637 are under supervision at the domicile.
At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another 16 deaths triggered by COVID-19 and there are 1,617 people dead of coronavirus in all.
