Biggest Romanian charter tour operator comes to Moldova's market
Chisinau, 16 December /MOLDPRES/ - The biggest Romanian charter operator has officially started working in Moldova. It is about the Christian Tour, which, in 2014, reached a turnover worth 45 million euros, served 185,000 tourists, has 30 agencies in Romania and about 150 employees.
In 2014, Christian Tour made 27 weekly charter flights to Greece, Turkey, Spain and Italy. It also has a park of 36 luxury buses, which also provides vacation destinations for tourists.
“We have come to Moldova, as we are sure of our success. We will provide tourism packages for any pocket, which means that any person coming to us will find the desired vacation. Christian Tour will offer the best tourism packages to any Moldovan citizen’s taste,” CEO Christian Tour Romania Marius Pandel said.
Pandel said the fact that they got to 185,000 tourists in 2014 had been been a matter of luck, but of organisation to satisfy the client’s needs.
“We are confident about the possibilities from Moldova, especially now, when visas for Europe were lifted up. In June-September 2015, we will launch the first charter from Moldova. The flight will be for Crete Island weekly and will be operated by Aegean Airlines, the biggest Greek company,” Pandel said.
Among the special offers of the agency, there is also the Senior Voyaje package – meant for people over 55 years old, as well as Family Moments – meant for families with children.
In 2015, Christian Tour will provide a flight package from Iasi (Romania) to Zakynthos Island and from Bacau (Romania) – to Rodos. At the same time, the company proposes trips and travels by bus and plane, worth starting from 145 euros.
Head of Christian Tour in Moldova Alexandru Filipschi said the company had already opened its doors for clients and, on this occasion, big price cuts of up to 50 per cent of the package were offered.
“The tourism in Moldova needs an upgrade, as there are many difficulties at present. A revival of the local tourism takes place with the coming of new operators from other countries. Christian Tour comes with new offers and possibilities for Moldovan tourists, at reasonable prices and trips organised at the highest level,” Filipschi said.
Filipschi specified that Christian Tour held one of the biggest travel offices in Moldova, located in the centre of Chisinau.
