Company from Tutkey to supply 100 buses for Moldovan capital
Chisinau, 10 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall informs that its working group in charge of assessing the bids of a tender on buying a consignment of 100 buses for the Moldovan capital nominated the winning bidder. Thus, the production company ISUZU Anadolu Otomotiv Sanayii ve Ticaret will deliver the transport units to the Chisinau municipality.
According to the press service of the Chisinau city hall, the company bided a price of 156,400 dollars for one transport unit, which is equivalent to 132,300 euros. Also, the winning company gave a guarantee of five years for the buses.
The basic criterion the working group took in account while choosing the bidder was the ratio quality-price proposed by the producer, just as it was stipulated in the tender book.
In the context, the Chisinau general mayor, Ion Ceban, said that the working group’s members had unanimously voted for the bid proposed by the ISUZU Company, selected out of more producers: MAZ, BMC, ISUZU, OTOKAR.
At the same time, during the guarantee period, the producer takes responsibility to ensure the servicing of buses for free, according to all norms: oil change service, lubricants, filtres, belts, servicing of air conditioning apparatus, other pieces and needed consumable materials.
The Chisinau city hall in late last July launched a public tender on the purchasing of 100 buses for improving the municipal passenger transport service. The sum provided for the consignment of new transport units is of 270 million lei. The opening of the tender bids took place on 10 September.
