
COVID information campaign to be held in education institutions in Chisinau
Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/- Chisinau city hall is starting a campaign to inform the need for COVID vaccinations in municipal educational institutions.
Mayor Ion Ceban announced on social networks that the public administration of the municipality will create mobile groups of doctors, who will go to schools to discuss and inform teachers and support staff about the need for anti-coronavirus immunization.
He also referred to the obligation to test the unvaccinated teaching staff, stating that a list will be made of the employees who need this.
According to the city hall, the workers in the municipal education system are vaccinated 73 percent. Out of 9,242 employees, 2,500 people, mostly auxiliary staff, are not vaccinated.
