DOC // President appoints 16 judges to several courts across country
President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu has appointed 16 judges to their positions until they reach the age limit. The presidential decree was published today in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the decree, the judges were appointed to the courts of Hîncești, Orhei, Soroca, Bălți, Cahul, Drochia, Ungheni, Edineț and Chișinău.
Among those appointed are Adela Cazacu to the Hîncești Court, Dionisie Cebotărean to the Orhei Court, Nelea Codreanu to the Soroca Court and Ghenadie Prețivati to the Chișinău Court.
At the same time, several judges have been designated to the courts in Bălți, Cahul and Drochia, including Elena Fortuna, Ecaterina Gaina, Ecaterina Gavrilița and Ion Țurcan.
The decree appointing Alexandru Machidon as Prosecutor General of the Republic of Moldova was also published in the same issue of the Official Journal.
