PHOTO // Journalists from several European countries visit Moldova to explore economic potential and cultural values
Journalists from Romania, Poland, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom are visiting the Republic of Moldova this week to discover its economy, culture, and local experiences.
The visitors represent some of the most important publications in the fields of economy, business, lifestyle, and tourism in their respective countries. They will explore the Republic of Moldova from several perspectives: exports, creative industries, heritage, gastronomy, tourism, and local development.
The visit agenda was designed and customized according to the journalists’ editorial profiles and interests, so that they could have direct access to relevant information, credible sources, local companies, and experiences that showcase today’s Moldova.
The first two days began in Chișinău, with a guided tour of the capital and a networking session at Artcor, organized together with the Light Industry Employers’ Association. The journalists had the opportunity to get to know Moldovan fashion brands and talk directly with designers about local production, creativity, brand identity, and international potential.
The program continued with visits to „Orheiul Vechi” cultural-natural reserve and Curchi Monastery, important landmarks of the cultural and tourist heritage of the Republic of Moldova.
The international press visit is organized by the Investment Agency, in collaboration with an airline company and the National Tourism Office of the Republic of Moldova. The purpose of the event is to promote the country’s image by offering the international press a clearer and more practical understanding of the Republic of Moldova as a tourist destination and an export-oriented economy.
