Ecological exhibition Eco & Green EXPO 2023 to be organized Moldova for the first time ever
Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - The Moldexpo International Exhibition Centre will host the exhibition, Eco & Green EXPO 2023, on 8-10 September for the first time ever. The event is dedicated to the green technologies and environmental protection, for innovation and sustainable development and is organized by the Environment Ministry, the host institution and Green City Lab Moldova.
Eco & Green EXPO 2023 will represent an area where visitors will be able to explore advanced green technologies, eco-innovating solutions and practices for the environmental protection. ‘’Entrepreneurs, companies and organizations from diverse sectors will present solutions, through which we can contribute to a cleaner environment and a circular economy. The participants in practical workshops will be able to learn and experiment sustainable solutions in action, at interactive workshops,’’ the Moldexpo director general, Carolina Chiper, said at a news conference on the exhibition today.
Carolina Chiper noted that the exhibition Eco & Green EXPO 2023 was a first-ever project, dedicated to environmental protection. Its appearance on the exhibition market is not accidental and was dictated by the society’s concerns as to the environmental protection, especially the enhancement of the state’s attention to this important field and, as a result - ever more insistent encouraging of enterprises in the development of the green and circular economy and promotion of the ecological values.
Eco & Green EXPO 2023 brings together international organizations, companies, state entities and NGOs involved in sustainable development. The event will show the diversity and potential of sustainability: beginning with innovating ideas to practical solutions. The exhibition is organized for all those interested in ecological solutions, sustainable development and technological innovations, according to Environment Minister Iordanca-Rodica Iordanov.
‘’Eco & Green EXPO is meant to contribute to the enhancement of the accessibility and extension of the area of use of green technologies and of environmental protection, optimization of resources and development of purer production processes, recycling of waste,’’ the executive director of Green City lab Moldova, Veronica Herta, said.
The exhibition forum will include a rich agenda of seminars, activities of promotion of eco actions, technologies, products and services, organized by the Environment Ministry and Green City Lab Moldova. Partners of the exhibition are UNDP Moldova, with the financial support of the European Union, Moldova Future Technologies Activity Project, financed by USAID, Sweden and the United Kingdom, Organization for Entrepreneurship Development.
