Environment ministry's team concluded sanitation week with cleanup action in Durlești forest

Chisinau, Sep 30 /MOLDPRES/- The Ministry of Environment concluded the sanitation week with a cleanup action in Durlești forest, attended by Environment Minister Sergiu Lazarencu and a team of employees of the institution.

According to the official, "we will certainly continue to organize such actions, environmentally friendly, useful for people, promoting responsibility for a waste-free environment".

On World Cleanup Day, the Environment Ministry urged citizens to take part in sanitation actions on September 23-29 across the country. World Cleanup Day is marked annually on September 23 to encourage communities to get involved in cleanup activities and aims to raise awareness of environmental issues and the importance of proper waste management for a cleaner environment.
