Education ministry launched cycle of regional events

10 universities presented the educational offerings to high school students in Hâncești and Edineț. The regional events are part of Study in Moldova campaign launched today by the Ministry of Education and Research.

According to MEC leadership, the campaign aims to inform high school and college graduates about the educational offer of universities in the country.

Attending the event in Hâncești, Galina Rusu, State Secretary for Technical Vocational Education and National Qualifications at MEC urged young people to visit our country's universities and explore the educational offer.

'I invite you to start your professional development here, in our country, in the Republic of Moldova. I am confident that our country's universities have a lot to offer, including nationally and internationally accredited study programs. It is important for you to know that a diploma obtained in the Republic of Moldova is recognized in Europe. It is a pride that we have recently managed, including through the higher education project of the Republic of Moldova, to open new study programs in multimedia, IT, agriculture and medicine. Being a student in the Republic of Moldova, you will be able to participate in academic exchanges, and what is extremely important is that when you return home, your credits will be recognized. Our universities await you with renovated classrooms, laboratories, and learning spaces. If you haven't had the chance to visit the universities yet, I encourage you to do so in the next vacation,' the official stated.

According to MEC, today in Hâncești there are graduating students from the 12th-grade classes from the districts of Ialoveni, Cimișlia, Leova, and in Edineț, almost 800 students from the district, as well as from Briceni, Ocnița, Dondușeni will attend.

In both locations, several career guidance workshops will be organized for students with specialists from various fields such as pedagogy, medicine, journalism, entrepreneurship, IT, agriculture.
