
Moldovan cabinet meeting to be held in western Ungheni city
Chisinau, 18 October /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet meeting will hold its meeting in the western Ungheni city on 19 October. The cabinet members will consider draft laws which see the increase, starting from 1 October 2022, of the salaries of the staff from the public medical and sanitary institutions, as well as the providing of a one-off assistance worth 3,000 lei to the public sector employees with salaries lower than 15,000 lei.
According to the government’s communication and protocol department, the meeting’s agenda includes also a cabinet draft decision on the simplification of the access for the business environment to loans from financial institutions. The cabinet of ministers will also approve the Regulation of the National Fund for Environment and an agreement on loan with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the carrying out of the Solid Waste in Moldova project.
Following the meeting, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita will give a news conference, after which she will visit the Lear Corporation foreign capital company, headquartered in the Ungheni-based Free Economic Zone. The PM will also go to the Bahmut village, where the settlement’s by-pass road, constructed with EU’s support, will be made available for use.
