
Moldovan state to offset electricity rates consumed during emergency period
Chisinau, 23 April /MOLDPRES/- Today MPs approved in second reading a draft law on compensation of electricity tariffs, used by household consumers during the state of emergency (1 April - 30 May).
Thus, the consumers of households, private people living in Moldova for two months - April and May, the state of emergency period will benefit from the electricity tariff compensations.
The compensated amount will be 428 lei - 214 lei per month. At the same time, the Ministry of Finance could allocate the necessary installments for the compensation in equal amounts, on the accounts of the electricity suppliers.
The document was set up as a social measure for people given state of emergency in Moldova on 1 April -30 May 2021. The draft is to be voted in the final reading.
