Moldovan pupils won a silver medal and three bronze medals at Balkan Mathematics Olympiad, which took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The silver medal was won by Marius Cerlat, Orizont Theoretical High School in Chisinau, while the bronze medalists are Alin Popescu, Robert Barbuța, and Laura Șestacov, pupils of the same educational institution.
The Balkan Mathematics Olympiad was held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 25-30 April 2025. It reached 42nd edition and gathered 143 students from 24 countries.
The Republic of Moldova was represented by six students and two teachers.
