USMF „Nicolae Testemițanu” published final results of admission contest for higher education

Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy (USMF) has published today the final results of the admission contest for undergraduate and integrated higher education programmes, as well as for master’s studies for the 2026–2027 academic year, according to the study programmes, competition categories and sources of funding.

According to the institution, only candidates who submitted their original documents – 1,589 people - participated in the final stage of the competition for both state-funded and fee-based places during 8–12 August.

The final admission contest for undergraduate and integrated higher education was passed by 1,282 candidates, as follows: 789 in the Medicine programme (429 – state-funded, 360 – fee-based), 138 in Dentistry (10 – state-funded, 128 – fee-based), 111 in Pharmacy (10 – state-funded, 101 – fee-based), 16 in Public Health (5 – state-funded, 11 – fee-based), 30 in Optometry (5 – state-funded, 25 – fee-based), 30 in General Nursing (10 – state-funded, 20 – fee-based), 86 in Physiokinetotherapy and Rehabilitation (10 – state-funded, 76 – fee-based), 30 in Technologies in Radiology and Imaging (10 – state-funded, 20 – fee-based), 17 in Dental Care Assistance (5 – state-funded, 12 – fee-based) and 35 in Medical Cosmetics and Cosmetic Product Technology (5 – state-funded, 30 – fee-based).

For master’s degree studies, 85 people passed the admission contest for the following study programmes: 25 in Health Management (fee-based), 15 in Human Nutrition (3 – state-funded, 12 – fee-based), 8 in Public Mental Health (3 – state-funded, 5 – fee-based), 8 in Molecular Technologies in Health (2 – state-funded, 6 – fee-based), 7 in Clinical Optometry (2 – state-funded, 5 – fee-based), 13 in Advanced Nursing (2 – state-funded, 11 – fee-based), 9 in Health Promotion and Protection (3 – state-funded, 6 – fee-based).

“The candidates admitted on a fee basis, both to undergraduate and integrated studies and to master’s degree studies, will be enrolled only after signing the contracts and paying the tuition fee. The contracts are to be signed at the Technical Center of the Admission Committee, during the period 14–22 August of this year. The tuition fees will be paid in full (100%),” the institution underlined.

The university also announces the organization of the supplementary admission session for undergraduate and integrated higher education, for fee-based study programmes: Pharmacy – 10 places, General Nursing – 5 places, Dental Care Assistance – 5 places, Public Health – 5 places, and Medical Cosmetics and Cosmetic Product Technology – 5 places.

“For master’s degree studies, the offer in the supplementary session includes 5 fee-based places for the study programme Early Childhood Intervention. Thus, during 15–17 August, candidates for undergraduate and integrated higher education, as well as for master’s studies, will submit their application files online, on the platform eadmitere.gov.md. Candidates who did not manage to submit their online file during the main session may also participate in the supplementary admission contest,” the institution mentioned.

The intermediate results of the supplementary admission session for undergraduate and integrated studies, as well as for master’s studies, will be published on 21 August of this year on the university’s website. Afterwards, candidates will submit the original documents during 21–22 August, on 24 August the final results will be announced, and on 25 and 26 August the contracts will be signed and tuition fees will be paid.

Candidates who did not pass the final admission contest may receive an email message with “Application rejected” from eAdmitere platform. This does not amount to being excluded from the competition lists, and candidates may remain in the competition or submit their file in the supplementary session.
