PAS MP: We have duty to look after present and future of our country, and children - our future
PAS MP Ion Groza delivered a congratulatory message today at the start of the Parliament’s plenary session on International Children’s Day, observed annually on June 1, emphasizing the importance of protecting childhood and ensuring a secure future for children.
“Dear colleagues! Every year, on the first day of summer, we celebrate International Children’s Day, a celebration of childhood, the most beautiful period in every person’s life,” the lawmaker said.
Ion Groza noted that as a father of four children and grandfather of nine grandchildren, he extends his congratulations to all children in the Republic of Moldova.
“Each of us holds within ourselves the desire to be a child. I want to extend my most sincere congratulations to all the children in our country,” said the MP.
He emphasized that society has a responsibility to provide children with safe conditions for development and a happy childhood.
“We must give children the very best: a happy childhood, peace, and prosperity. We have a duty to safeguard the present and future of our country, and children are our future,” said Ion Groza.
In closing, the MP sent a message of congratulations to all children, wishing them a happy childhood filled with peace and prosperity.
June 1, 2026, will be marked in the Republic of Moldova with a series of activities dedicated to children. Thus, Moldexpo will host Kid’s Expo 2026 exhibition, featuring fairs, workshops, and activities for children and parents.
