Over 2,000 job vacancies to be offered at job fair organized in Moldovan capital

Over 2,000 job vacancies will be offered at a job fair organized in the capital. The event will bring together 50 employers from various sectors of the economy – services, trade, transport and storage, construction, manufacturing, health and social care, public administration and social insurance.

The event will take place on Friday, May 29 this year, between 10:00 and 14:00, at the Palace of the Republic.

Head of the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) Raisa Dogaru noted that the fair is open to people looking for a job, as well as those who want to discover new professional opportunities.

“The job fair has already become a traditional event. It represents a platform where employers and employees have the opportunity to communicate. The positions will be offered for people with and without formal education, with or without work experience. Thus, participants will be able to talk directly to employers, present their CVs, negotiate employment conditions and arrange interviews. We are sure that interaction and communication matter a lot; only in this way can we contribute to economic growth and the well-being of citizens,” said Raisa Dogaru.

During the event, visitors will benefit from career counseling and guidance services to help them identify a suitable professional path. At the same time, information will be presented about free vocational training and retraining programs, as well as about the opportunities offered through the National Program “+3000 lei for Your Career!”.

The fair’s agenda also includes information sessions dedicated to the rights and obligations of employees and employers, as well as the development of essential competencies (soft skills) needed for the successful integration of young people into the labor market.

The event is organized by ANOFM and the Chisinau Municipal General Employment Directorate, with the support of GIZ Moldova, the EU4Youth – Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Program and the Central Project Management Agency.
